I'm Léa Miranda Monteiro, a versatile professional based in Switzerland, combining expertise in both visual arts and Swiss and international law. I speak seven languages and hold a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Swiss International Law, a diploma in Transnational Law, and a WIPO Certificate in Intellectual Property. I also have extensive experience working within the judiciary and in law firms.

Alongside my legal career, I am also a photographer and a filmmaker. Since 2016, I've had the opportunity to exhibit my work at Black Art Matters in Zürich, Black Helvetia in Neuchâtel and other areas in Switzerland. I've collaborated with key figures and leading platforms in the hip-hop, sports, and Black culture scenes in Geneva including The Spot, Les Veilles, RedBull Media World, Les Créatives, Afrodyssée, Common Ground, FIBA, and many others.

Inspired by my Cape Verdean roots, I focus on portraiture that reveals the individuality and inner worlds of the people, the Diaspora and telling stories that reflect the history and cultural heritage. As a former professional basketball player, I'm also drawn to the psychological and emotional dimensions of sport and the unique bonds it creates.

Currently, I’m continuing to grow as a filmmaker and develop new stories while taking part in a professional program in Los Angeles and receiving mentorship to deepen my craft.

In the meantime, my work is available for purchase, and I’m open to inquiries related to contract law, intellectual property matters, and collaborations within the Film industry internationally.
